Erected by Alexander Pirie (Manufacturer, Forebank) in memory of his wife, Margaret Lind, who died 17th April, 1850 aged 66 years. Also his son, William, who died 30th Nov., 1840 aged 41 years, Alexander Pirie died 16th Jan 1852 aged 69 years.
