loving remembrance

Charles Taylor

Master Gunner Broughty Castle

who died there 28th October 1880

Aged 47 years

Also his son Edward Henry

Who died 27th October 1880 aged 5 years

 

This lovely bud so young and fair

Called hence by early doom

Just come to show how sweet a flower

In paradise could bloom

Twas not in anger nor in wrath

The reaper came that day

An Angel visited the feild

And took the flower away
