This section I have created to show some illustrations of tombstones from the Howff. These drawings were made
in 19th Century by Charles S. Lawson, a lithographer, and show some of the intricate carving which sadly no
longer can be seen on the stones due to being missing, erosion or air pollution.
Some of the sketch numbers do not match correctly with the
headstones they relate to in reality. Where known the correct numbers have been added.
