Inscription.

1837 Erected By HELEN SMITH Grocer Dundee In memory of her husband DAVID ADAMS who died 12th March 1835 aged 73 years also their three children - ISABELLA who died 6th September 1815 aged 16 years JOSEPH, who died in childhood and DAVID who died 20th May 1819 aged 15 years

Note: This stone erected by Mrs Isabella Smith widow of David Adams and mother of Peter Adams, he having declared that it was on her account he paid the dues.
