Stone No.980

 

Inscription.

This stone was erected by James Smart in memory of his father, James Smart, Mason in Dundee, who died Septr 25th 1756, aged 57 years; and of his mother Janet Donaldson, who died Augt 8th 1753, aged 52, and with them are here interred six of their children, William, Thomas, Alexander, Andrew, Isabell and Anne Smart.
