This stone was erected in
memory of THOMAS GRIG
shipmaster & his tuo children
by JANET MYLES his spouse
viz: JOHN GRIG died the 16 of
May 1752 aged sixteen weeks
KATHERINE GRIG died the 9th of
Nov:r 1761 aged tuo years
& siven months
JOHN GREIG 1813
Upon this earth Christ did appear,
and did invite all children dear;
and in his Kingdon promis'd them.
wonder at this ye sons of men!
