Inscription.

 Table monument, with white marble panel, in memory of William Stirling of Pittendreich, 1788


To the memory of William Stirling of Pittendreich and Jean Cook his wife, Patrick, their only surviving son, caused this tombstone to be erected. She died 11th july 1788, aged 81, and he 6th November 1790 aged 87, after living together near 60 years in wedlock, and burying 11 of their 13 children.

Charles Lacon of Great Yarmouth, who died at Duntrune on the 10th day of December 1855 aged 30 years.
