Inscription.

1838 Erected by DAVID ALEXANDER tailor in memory of his father JAMES ALEXANDER who died February 15th 1837 aged 56 years also his sister HELEN who died 22nd March 1830 aged 18 years and also his wife CATHARINE HORART who died 11th September 1839 aged 31 years also their son JAMES who died 31st December 1841 aged 5 years and 6 months

There is only room for one grave at this stone
