In memory of his spouse

ANN Mc RABIE

who died 15th Nov'r 1816

aged 42 years

and three of their children

ANN WILLIAM and JOHN

Who died in infancy

also

MARGARET BROWN her mother

who lie near this place

likewise ANDREW, who died at sea 24th

Oct'r 1820 aged 22 years and JAMES who

died at sea 3rd June 1827 aged 27 years

also ANDREW who died 13th June 1827

aged 8 months, JAMES OGILVIE

who erected this stone died on the 21st May

1834 aged 63 years

He was a worthy husband and

an affectionate parent

 

 Weep not husband and children dear

I am not dead, but sleeping here

My end you know, my grave you see
