1827 Erected By ALEXANDER GILROY hacklemaker Dundee in memory of his mother ELIZABETH ORMOND who died 16th June 1789 aged 40 years and his father ALEXANDER GILROY hacklemaker Dundee who died 18th May 1798 aged 45 years also his son THOMAS who died 13th January 1821 aged 5 years and six-months the above ALEXANDER GILROY died 12th January 1832 aged 50 years
