This stone was erected by ELIZABETH PARKIE in memory of her husband THOMAS STURROCK, Butcher in Dundee who departed this life the 24th March 1761 aged 61 years, who had betuext them these children Viz ELIZABETH, JAMES, JOHN DAVID, WILLIAM, JEAN and PATRICK REAR Cherub, tools. Memento Mori ( Remember to die )
