Inscription.

Under this stone lyes James Knight

sometime Baker in Dundie who died the

11th of May 1764 aged 59 years 

Copestone of Sarcophagus with fielded panels, 1683.

Effigies of youth, time, and two angels.

At one end is a ship in high relief with a man casting an anchor.

 

The letters I. M. and I. K. are the only part of the original inscription now visible.
