14 May 1851, Richard Low, teacher paid revisal dues for
permission to remove old stone & replace it by a new one per minute of Hospital

Erected by John Low, Plasterer, Dundee, in memory of Alexander
Low his son, who died February 3rd 1817, aged 16 years. Also a daughter and
seven other sons who all died at eight years and under.
