Sacred to the memory of Ann Grant, by her beloved spouse, Lieut. Andrew Waid of the Royal Navy. She departit this Life 21st Novr, 1799, with the most becoming fortitude and resignation, in hopes of a blessed Resurrection, her age 23 years. Her time was Short, the longer is her Rest; God called her hence, because he saw it best.   Source: Thomson.
