Stone No.737

 

Inscription.

This stone was erected by James Mackay, Merchant in Dundee, to perpetuate the memory of his daughter Elisabeth, who died the 11th October 1775, aged four years and a half year; and his daughter Jane, who died the 11th October 1775, aged one year and nine months; and his daughter Grisal, who died the 22nd July 1773, aged one year.

Sacred to the memory of Alexander McLaren, late Merchant in Dundee, who died the 27th November 1831, aged 77 years; and of Alexander his son, who died 23rd March 1812, aged 3 years.
