1632 Grissel or Grace Watson to David Ramsay, maltman, died 02 Jan 1632

Claimant: Ioannes Watson, same family as No.30. Watson banker glasgow and Mrs Gray his sister.

To David Ramsay, Maltman, a most upright man, and a most beloved and faithful husband, who died 02 January A.D. 1632, Grisell Watson caused this monument to be erected.

Spare these tears dear wife and children; trust in God who will protect the living.

In memory of Mr David Ramsay, Merchant, who died 1812, aged 69 years. And of Elizabeth Sandeman his wife who died 26th March 1821, aged 76 years. Also of their Grandchildren, the sons of John Sturrock and Christian Ramsay, who died, Silvester Sturrock 12th July 1833 in his 27th year, and John Binny Sturrock the 8th March 1835 in his 12th year. Revised by John Sturrock Esq. 1868.
