REAR:

Time drops the curtain soon with some,

Though in the bloom of youthful days,

When heavens appointment hour to come,

The call admits of no delays,

Prepared or unprepar'd we must,

Our former claim to time give o'er

To mingle with our mother dust,

And mix with mortals here no more
