Inscription.

Hic dormienti pietate et virtute insigni viro Georgio Roger naueclero et civi hujus oppidi qui obiit anno 1611 die primo Octobris aetatis vero suae anno 33 hoc facienoum procuravit eius conjunse Elizabetha Lochmalounie mihi hodie cras tibi.

To George Roger, Mariner and Citizen of this town, interred here, a man remarkable for piety and virtue, his wife Elizabeth Lochmalony caused this to be erected. He died the first day of October in the year 1611, and of his age 33.
