1820. Erected by Andrew Dempster, Brickmaker, Scouringburn, Dundee, in memory of his wife Helen Chalmers, who died 23 December, aged 32.

She left this world without a fear,

But for six of family she held so dear;

To supply their wants, O Lord descend,

And to the motherless prove a friend.
