Peter Kinloch, Merchant, 1641.
Stone in fielded panels with figures of Justice, charity, life and time.
Latin inscription now defaced, was in the following terms:-
"Peter Kinloch, merchant and citizen of Dundee, frequently in commercial intercourse with foreigners, and skilled
in seven foreign languages, having undergone many trials by sea and land, at length desires to rest in his native city,
on the 27th day of the month of October in the year of the Christian era 1641, after he had lived 51 years."
Arms of Kinloch and Ogilvie marshalled on one side of the end panels.
The faithful neids not fear death becaus Christ haith taken
away the sting thereof.
In thyne hands Lord we comit
Our souls which are thy due
For why thou hast redimed them
O Lord our God must true.
