1792. This stone was erected by
Alexander Gray and Mary Ballantine his spouse, Merchant at the Scouringburn, in
memory of their two children, viz., William and Alexander. William died the 5th
July 1788, aged about 9 months, Alexander died December the 31th 1790, aged 1
year and 7 months.
