Erected by James and David Baxter
in memory of their father Alexander Baxter, who died in the year of our Lord
1796, aged 73 years; and their mother Margaret Mitchell, who died 1801, aged 67
years. The above David Baxter and Alice Christopher his spouse, in memory of
their daughter Jean, who died 31st January 1800, aged 8 months.
