Inscription.

A.L.; E.H. This stone was erected by Alexander Lownie, Shoemaker in Dundee, in memory of his daughter, who died in non age in the year 1775, August 18.

REAR:

Erected in memory of Alexander Lownie, who died 1849, aged 53 years. Also his son George, aged 24 years, and John aged 22 years.
