I left the seas at Gods command,

Where oft I have been toss'd;

But now I fear not rocks nor sands,

Being on a quite safe coast.

Now here I silently doth lie,

Till Christ, my glorious head,

Once with his quick'ning voice shall cry,

and raise me from the dead.
