This stone was revised by John
Small, School master in Dundee, and Isabell Gibson his spouse, to the memory of
their son John Small, who died 24th of August 1777, aged 4 years.
The great Jehovah from above,
An Angel bright did send,
To fetch the little harmless dove,
To joys that me'er will end.
