Inscription.

Memorial ae virtuti piae et probae mulieris Margaritae Bellie Gulidmus Ramsay mercator maritus fidiss hoc monumentum ponebat quae obiit ii mensis martii anno dmi 1629 aetatis suae 54.

To the memory and virtue of a pious and honest woman, Margaret Bellie, her most faithful husband William Ramsay, Merchant, erected this monument. She died 2nd March in the year of the Lord 1629, and of her age 54.

Note: This inscription was noted as the coped stone 438-3 which is now erased, however closer inspection of the lettering of the remaining inscription identifies it as being this memorial.
