Erected By DAVID NICOL merchant East Port Dundee in memory of his spouse MARGARET SCOTT who died 11th January 1821 aged 78 years and of his Grand Son DAVID SMART who died at Port of Prince St Domingo 21st March 1823 aged 23 years
