This stone was
laid upon their burial place by order of LILLIAS, EUPHAN &
MARGARET ORMES their daughters & WILLIAM MITCHELL merch
their Son in law Dundee Sept 18th 1754
also are buried here the above named
MARGARET ORME their daughter who
died 21st June 1763 in the 58th year of her age
LILLIAS ORME their daughter who died
12th July 1767 in the 63rd year of her age
WILLIAM MITCHELL merchant sometime in Glasgow afterwards in Dundee their
Son in Law and husband to MARGARET
ORME he died 29th March 1770 in the
69th year of his age
also is interred here Dr WILLIAM MITCHELL Physician Dundee who
died on the 8th April 1784 aged 42
also is interred here AGNES CARNEGY
Relict of the above Dr Wm MITCHELL who
died on the 16th Sept 1825 aged 84 years
Claimant: Andrew Bricknal by his wife Grand daughter of Henry
Orme.
