JOHN CAIRNCROSS

many years accountant to the Dundee Bank

and treasurer to the Harbour

who died 12th April 1856

aged 74 years

also in memory of his mother

CATHERINE KIDD

who died 9th July 1850

aged 71 years


Claimant:John Cairncross, Banker Dundee.

Dundee 30 Sept 1856, permission granted by Hospital Master and Factor in virtue of minute from Hospital Committe to the trustees of the late John Cairncross, to remove the old stone on this space (324) to replace it by another, but that without prejudice to the rights of any other parties.
