This stone was erected by Mrs
Cruikshank and Mrs Carmichael in memory of James Young, Merchant in Dundee,
their father, who died the 18 day of Decr 1755, aged 60 years; as also Margaret
Thomson, who died the 30th of april 1755, their mother, aged 54 years.
Omnes eodem cogimur.
Death is inevitable.
