This stone is erected in memory of
James Robert and Jean Pitcairns law
ful children to Robert Pitcairn writer
in Dundee and Jean jobson his spouse
the said children departed this life as
follows viz James 22nd July 1725 aged
nine months Jean 27th Aprile 1740 aged
two and Robert 17th July 1741 aged
12 years - and now below
this stone is interred the said Robert
Pitcairn who dyed on the 22nd day of June
1753 in the 68th year of his age
