in memory of his spouse

MAGDALEN FERGUSON

who died the 18th January

1832 aged 63y

and of JAMES SPALDING mariner

his son died the 20th July

1830 aged 32 years

also of MARY his daughter

wife of THOMAS SCOTT

who died the 13 Novr 1831

aged 32 years, likewise

MARGARET, JANET & GEORGE

who died in infancy.

Also to the memory of Margaret Baxter, his second wife, who died 16th July 1833, aged 49 years.

The above James Spalding died the 29th June 1836, aged 65 years.
