He died of cholera Morbus

On the 29th of July

In the fatal year of

1832

On his passage

From London to Dundee

Deeply Lamented by his

Family and Friends

Sacred to the memory of Lieutenant Colonel William Forrest H.E.I.C.S. who departed this life on the 29th day of July 1832, aged 55 years.
