Erected By PATRICK BROWN Merch Dundee in memory of his father GILBERT BROWN who died 2nd February 1814 aged 77 years and of his mother RACHEL BALFOUR who died 16th January 1817 aged 97 years The erector of this stone died 5th December 1822 aged 48 years and HELEN BROWN his daughter who died 10th August 1823 aged 5 years   REAR: MARGARET EDIE widow of PATRICK BROWN died 17th January 1840 aged 64 years JAMES BROWN commision agent died 26th February 1852 MARGARET BROWN daughter of PATRICK BROWN and widow of JAMES BARRY died 30th December 1903 aged 91 years interred in Western Cemetery
