1843 Erected By Peter McClinchy Clothier Dundee in memory of his wife Mary Fox who died 12th March 1842 in the 37th year of her age also of their children Peter who died 2nd May 1835 aged 2 years and 5 months John who died 28th January 1831 aged 4 years and 4 months Peter who died 20th October 1830 aged 2 years and 9 months Charles who died 13th August 1830 aged 9 months and a daughter still born also his second wife Mary Cunningham who died 9th February 1856 aged 37 years the above Peter McClinchy died at Old Rattray 25th August 1857 aged 55 years R.I.P. also his son Bartholomew who was drowned in the Irish Channel 5th March 1858 aged 18 years
