Inscription.

To
the memory of
David Ewing
Mariner
who died 27th August 1820
aged 36 years
As
A tribute of respect
this stone was erected
by his two brothers
William & Thomas Ewing
also to the memory of their mother
Henrietta Reid
who died 7th Dec 1827 aged 65 years
in memory of
Catherine Gellatly
wife of
Thomas Ewing
who died on the 8th October 1856
and their infant daughter
Agnes who died in 1837


Through stormy seas of trouble past,

I've found a peaceful shore;

From tempests safe I'm moored at last,

And leave my port no more.
