1829. Erected by Charles Matthews,
Merchant, Dundee, and Catherine Paton his spouse, in memory of their son
Charles, who died 23rd December 1826, aged 10 months. Also of his father Charles
Matthews, who died 28th May 1815, aged 56 years, and his mother Christian Allan,
who died 1st March 1826, aged 67 years.
