Original Inscription.

Sacred by William Mills, Shipmaster, in memory of his spouse, Janet Robertson, who died 21st June 1830, aged 38 years. Also of his daughter Elvia, who died on the 29th September 1830, aged 7 years.

Weep not husband nor children dear,

Altho' alone, I'm sleeping here,

Weep not, tho' now my grave you see,

Prepare yourselves to follow me,

My time has come, my _ace was seen,

The will of God it must be done.
