1815. Erected by William Thomson,
Taylor, Hawkhill, and Isobel Hazel his spouse, in memory of Alexander Anderson,
her son, who died April 12th 1815, aged 25 years.
Though in the dust we laid his head,
Yet, gracious God, thou will not leave,
His soul for ever with the dead,
Nor lose his body in the grave,
