1837 Erected By Peter McMahan and Jane Gowie his spouse in memory of their children viz Jane who died 10th July 1830 aged 9 months and Peter who died 11th July 1835 aged 1 year also his mother in law Helen Finlay who died 31st December 1836 aged 58 years
