His life was devoted to his country

for a period of 30 years on active service

having entered the British Army 1785

and retired 1816

his memory lives in his merits

Sacred to the memory of David Mancor, who died April 1841, aged 1 year and 8 months. Andrew Mancor who died January 1853 at Melbourne, Australia, aged 28. Janet Mancor or Duncan spouse of Capt Mancor, who died July 1854 aged 52. Sergeant George Mancor, Scots Fusilier Guards who died at the Crimea July 1855 aged 25.
