CHRISTIAN HORN

who died 18th May 1811

aged 60 years


Erected by Jean Easson, Merchant, Dundee, in memory of her daughter, Janet Rattray, who died 8th February 1808, aged 1 years. Also her mother Christian Horn, who died 18th May 1811, aged 60 years.

When the Archangels trump shall blow,

And souls to bodies join,

Millions would wish their lives below,

Had been as short as mine,

Remember, man, as you pass by,

As you are now, so once was I,

As I am now, so you must be,

Remember man, that thou must die.

Sacred to the memory of Elizabeth, daughter of George Summers, Spiritdealer, Dundee. She died 8th February 1836 aged 22 years.
