Inscription.

Erected to the memory of Wm Anderson, Maltman, Dundee, who died 28th January 1837, aged 74 years, also in memory of his daughter Jean, who died 15th August 1814, aged 1 year, and his sons viz James, Shipmaster, died at the Cape of Good Hope 26th August 1832, aged 32 years, Wm of H.M.C died at Sydney 13th October 1841 aged 32 years, David died 8th May 1845 aged 39 years, Andrew died 25th May 1847 aged 36 years, Graham died 30th May 1851, aged 42 years. Margaret Soutar, relict of the above Wm Anderson, died 30th November 1855, aged 85 years.
