1823 Erected By PETER GILRUTH Merchant Hilltown in memory of his son PETER who died 15th June 1823 aged 23 years the above PETER GILRUTH died on the 29th January 1834 aged 80 years MAY GILRUTH daughter of the above designed died the 15th April 1843 JAMES GILRUTH Brewer Dundee son of the above died on the 31st May 1856 aged 68 years
