Inscription.

1877 Erected by JAMES SMITH Cabinetmaker in Dundee and ELIZABETH REID his spouse in memory of their son JAMES who died 24th December 1799 aged 13 months also their daughter MARGARET died 15th February 1817 aged 7 years and 3 months also their daughter MARY who died 1848 new stone was placed by THOMAS STEVENSON
