1790 Erected By Ann Talbert in memory of hir husband Alexr Stevenson wright in Dundee who died 30th of January 1781 aged 44 years also their son John Stevenson wright died 12th Decr 1788 aged 19 years and 6 months also Anne Talbert died 5th January 1801 aged 56 years. REAR 1847 Revised by the surviving family in memory of their parents DAVID SALMON shipmaster aged 61 AGNES STEVENSON his wife aged 71 & of their brothers ALEXANDER who died in infancy Capt DAVID SALMON aged 38 also JOHN KERR Junior aged III months

May 3rd 1847. Revisal dues paid by Miss Catherine Ann Salmon & Mrs Isabella Salmon, wife of John Kerr, Flesher, both daughters of the late David salmon, shipmaster- without prejudice to the rights of others.
