Inscription.

1814 Erected By Robert Ramsay Maltman Dundee and Isabel Duncan his spouse in memory of their daughter Margaret who died 26th Jany 1814 aged 4 years and 10 months _________ 1847 Revised by the family in memory of their father Robert Ramsay who died 27th June 1826 aged 56 years and of their mother Isabella Duncan who died 18th February 1838 aged 60 years also of their brother Andrew who died 15th May 1847 aged 32 years Ere sin could blight or sorrow fade, Death came with friendly care. The opening bud to heaven convey'd, And bade it blossom there. _ . _ Revised by Robert and Jane Lindsay Ramsay In memory of their Father Robert Ramsay, brewer Dundee. The last of the family interred here Who died at Coupar-Angus 11th April 1855 aged 45 years. And their Mother Jean Wilson Elder or Ramsay Who died at Dundee 23rd April 1874 aged 62 years. And is buried at Invergowrie Also of their Uncle William Ramsay, cabinet maker Dundee Who died 10th October 1867 aged 55 years And is interred at Newtyle The above Jane L Ramsay Died 2nd June 1925 aged 78 years Interred at Invergowrie The above Robert Ramsay Died 23rd April 1928 aged 81 years Interred at Arnos Vale, Bristol.

May 26th 1847, revisal dues paid by Robert Ramsay, brewer, William Ramsay, cabinet maker, James Ramsay, brewer, Sean Ramsay and Mary Ramsay, widow of Andrew Elder, brewer, all children of the late Robert Ramsay, brewer.
