1816 Erected by John Beattie, Baker, Dundee and his spouse in memory of Margaret Goodwillie his first wife, who died on the 6th of May 1810, aged 23 years; also a son who died in infancy, and their son John who died 20th Oct 1817 aged 6 years.

January 13th 1848 Revisal dues paid by the family of the late John Beattie, baker for permission to remove headstone No.159, in the old ground, and to erect a new one in its place.
