Inscription.

Broken     Erected By John Mudie & Margaret Dempster his spouse in memory of their two daughters viz Christian who died 2nd April 1808 aged 6 years Betty who died 5th April 1808 aged 3 years Ah! with what joy did we behold, The flower of beauty fair unfold; and fear'd no storm to blast their bloom, On bring them to an early tomb.
