Erected by William Stobbie and Elizabeth Smith his spouse, in
memory of his mother in law, Katherine Brouster spouse to John Smith, who died
the 9th June 1766, aged 73 years; and James Stobbie his son, who died the 1st of
March 1767, aged 1 years and 8 months. John Stobbie died September 30 1775 aged
1 year and 1 month. John Smith died October 16 1779 aged 99 years.
